Sha Hualing 「纱华铃」 is a minor villain in Scum Villain's Self-Saving System and was originally a harem member in Proud Immortal Demon Way.[3]
Appearance[]
During her novel debut, Sha Hualing had the appearance of a fifteen-year-old girl with a full head of black hair combed into tiny braids and a white complexion.[3]
She dresses in an unusual and exotic manner with bold and bright make-up and jingling silver rings around her wrists and ankles while her feet remain bare. For attire, she wears several bolts of light red veils that wrap around her body.[3]
Personality[]
Sha Hualing has an ambitious and fierce nature, attempting to challenge the powerful Cang Qiong Mountain sect and seize spoils of war to show off in the Demon Realm.[3] She also shows she is cunning and manipulative. During her first appearance in the novel, she tries to beguile Shen Qingqiu with her looks while twisting his words when confronted.[5]
She is also resourceful, taking a red veil covering her body to use as shield from flying swords when fleeing from the battle.[6]
In the original Proud Immortal Demon's Way, she was described to be cold, ruthless, and artful. Soon, she falls hard for Luo Binghe, becomes part of his harem and is willing to even betray the demon race for him.[3]

- Demonic Energy - Sha Hualing shows to be able to manipulate and create demonic energy the way a cultivator would spiritual energy. She has also used it as a weapon before.[6]
Trivia[]
- In the original story Sha Hualing was one of Luo Binghe's head wives. She often used to cause trouble for the other wives.[7]
- In PIDW, Sha Hualing often competed with Liu Mingyan and Qin Wanyue for Luo Binghe's affection.[8]
- Additionally, she caused Qin Wanyue's miscarriage.[9]
- It appears that Sha Hualing was named for the rings worn on her wrists and ankles which give off a jingling of small bells with every movement.[3]
- Sha Hualing is a pure-blooded demon.[3]
- Sha Hualing may have inspired or influenced Hua Cheng's appearance.
- Sha Hualing's attire may be inspired by Dunhuang Feitian fashion.
